Chemical & Lead Removal Filter

Molded carbon block filter "Carbon compressed under high pressure" removes chlorine, THM's, "chloroform-carbon tetrachloride", benzene, chlorinated solvents, herbicides, pesticides, and other related volatile organic hydrocarbons.

Incorporated into the carbon block filter is the "Engelhard ATS leads sorbent matrix material irreversibly locks onto any lead in solution reducing the concentration well below Environmental Protection Agency guidelines.

Heavy Metal Taste & Odour Filter

Activated tricalcium phosphate also known as "calcium hydroxyapatite".  This material is well known for its ability to reduce fluoride and many heavy metals such as aluminum and copper through absorption and ion exchange processes.

Granular activated coconut carbon media is used to absorb chemical contaminants of light molecular weight such as THM's, chlorinated compounds, and radon which can be displaced by the pre-filter after prolonged use.

Ultraviolet Disinfection Chamber

An important feature of the Sun-Pure Water Purifier is the use of Ultraviolet Light to destroy microorganisms in the water.

Ultraviolet light attacks viruses and bacteria by destroying the RNA and DNA complex of these organisms.  Once this complex is destroyed the disease causing viruses, bacteria, and parasites can no longer reproduce themselves.

100% of the filtered water is passed through the water purifier disinfection chamber.

Built-In Microcomputer

Microprocessor controller provides the ultimate in user friendliness.  This advanced feature in water purifier technology not only keeps track of the amount of time the filters and ultraviolet lamp have been installed. The service panel lights also remind the user in advance when it is time to replace the filters and ultraviolet lamp.  The service indicator lamps will change from green to yellow, alerting the consumer 30 days in advance to order replacement components, and then to red indicating the filters and ultraviolet lamp must be replaced. The microprocessor control will not lose track of time due to power interruptions.

Truesdale Laboratories, located in Tustin California was selected to test the Sun-Pure water purifier. This laboratory is certified by both the EPA and FDA to perform both chemical and microbiological testing to NSF and ASTM protocol.

Manufacturer's Limited Lifetime Warranty

Each Sun-Pure SP-10 Water Purifier comes with a limited lifetime warranty excluding expendable parts such as filters and UV lamp. This exceptional warranty provides for repair or replacement of any defective parts or components for two years from the date of purchase at no charge for labour or materials. Warranty work for the remaining life of the product will be provided with a maximum cost not to exceed $45.00 USD to the original owner. This warranty does not cover the expendable ultraviolet lamp, which must be replaced on an annual basis (1-year) or the expendable filter cartridge media, which also must be replaced on a annual basis (1-year) or sooner depending on environmental conditions. All warranty repair work must be performed either at the factory or by a factory certified service center. Shipping cost to the factory or service center is the responsibility of the owner of the Sun-Pure Water Purifier. Warranty return shipping from the factory is prepaid for the first two years only. This warranty is provided to the original purchaser of the Sun-Pure Water Purifier and may not be transferred, sold or bartered. Sun-Pure water purifiers are self installed by either the customer or outside agent and the manufacturer will not be responsible for damage caused by leaks due to faulty or incorrect installation, water hammers or leaks caused by excessive water pressure in excess of 65 pounds per square inch. This product is not warranted against freight damage, failure resulting from misuse, connection to incorrect voltage, or natural disasters such as fires, earthquakes, or floods.
