HOMEMADE SALAD DRESSING
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cup organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon
- 2/4 fresh garlic cloves crushed
- Organic spices you enjoy (example: basil, oregano, paprika, etc.)
- Combine ingredients in a glass jar and shake.
- For those who do not eat fish or take fish oil, use 1/2 cup flax oil and
3/4 cup olive oil instead. Flax oil should never be heated or used
to cook with.
For a creamy dressing, grind almonds or sunflower seeds in a food processor
along with organic non-sulphured Thompson raisins and blend with the above
mixture. (Add some fresh basil for a delicious pesto).
For convenience, make enough dressing to last 3 - 4 days and store in the
fridge.
